Juniper Research projects electronic SIM or eSIM-enabled device connections will grow 30% in 2026 alone, rising from 1.2 billion to roughly 1.5 billion worldwide. Ownership records and device history stay aligned as equipment is reassigned, replaced, or retired, giving administrators a reliable record to lean on rather than reconstructing it after the fact.
