Tangoe placed number 337 on the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 list and grew its revenue by 364% from 2004 to 2008. To qualify for the Technology Fast 500 award, companies must have had operating revenues of at least $50,000 USD or CD in 2004 and at least $5 million USD or CD in 2008. Additionally, these revenues must have more than doubled between 2004 and 2008. Also, companies must be in business for a minimum of five years and be headquartered within North America.

To determine the fastest growing companies for the Technology Fast 500, Deloitte reviewed fiscal year revenues over five years (2004-2008), calculated the revenue growth percentage over the same time period, and compared the growth of technology companies. The full list of Deloitte Fast 500 winners were honored on October 21, 2009 in New York City.

Selection for the Connecticut Technology Councils’ Tech Top 40 Awards was based on the percentage of revenue growth over four years from 2005-2008. Tangoe’s award was based on a revenue growth of approximately 300% from 2005 to 2008. The CTC and UHY LLP publicly announced the winning companies the evening of October 22, 2009.
