Sidra Berman Joins Tangoe as Chief Marketing Officer

ORANGE, Conn.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Tangoe, Inc. (NASDAQ: TNGO), a leading global provider of IT Expense Management (ITEM), which includes Telecom Expense Management (TEM), Managed Mobility Services (MMS), and Cloud Expense Management software and related services, today announced that Sidra Berman has joined the company as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) reporting directly to acting CEO, James Foy. Berman brings 20 years of experience specializing in innovative go-to-market strategies that resulted in significant revenue and product line growth marketing to enterprises. Prior to joining Tangoe, Berman served as Vice President of Marketing for Savi Technology where she was charged with overhauling the go-to-market strategy and repositioning of an RFID hardware defense contractor to a solutions company serving the Big Data supply chain needs of Fortune 1000 companies. During Berman’s tenure at Savi, the company won numerous awards including Company of the Year and IoT Product of the Year.

At Tangoe, Berman is responsible for all of the company’s marketing programs, including global go-to-market strategy, market analysis, lead generation programs, branding, digital, and overall positioning. Prior to Savi, she was the Vice President of Marketing and Inside Sales for Clarabridge, a high-growth Software-as-a-Service company focused on Big Data and text analytics targeting Fortune 2000 organizations. During her tenure at Clarabridge revenue doubled and new customer acquisition increased 50 percent. Prior to Clarabridge, Berman served as Director of Product Marketing and Strategy for Deltek, where she grew revenue through overall portfolio growth from target markets, increasing market share from successful product launches.

Berman holds a Bachelor’s degree in political science from Tufts University and an MBA in marketing and finance from the University of Maryland.
