Bob Irwin | Chief Executive Officer

As CEO, Bob is responsible for the strategic direction and operational execution of the company. His focus is growing Tangoe’s leadership position in Telecom Expense Management and Enterprise Mobility to help global organizations increase productivity, reduce IT costs, and improve data security. Bob has been a successful CEO at small and large companies, including EMS Software, the leading provider of meeting and room scheduling software for financial services, professional services, health care, technology, state and local government, and higher education customers.

Prior to EMS, Bob was CEO of TDCI, the leading provider of product configuration management software for discrete manufacturers. Before TDCI, Bob was CEO of Sterling Commerce, the leading provider of business-to-business integration software for financial services, telecommunications, and consumer packaged goods companies and supply chain management software for retailers, wholesalers, and manufacturers. Sterling Commerce grew at consistent double-digit rates and tripled customer satisfaction scores during his tenure. Bob led the successful acquisition and integration of four companies into Sterling, solidifying Sterling’s leadership position before leading the sale of the company to IBM. Bob’s career started at IBM. He has held executive positions in sales, marketing, and information technology management throughout his career. Bob is a graduate of The Ohio State University.

Rick Young | Chief Financial Officer
Rick Young | Chief Financial Officer

Rick joined Tangoe in April 2018. Recently, he was the Founder and Managing Partner at HT Private Equity Advisors. HT Private Equity Advisors advises private equity firms throughout the investment cycle ranging from traditional private company buy-outs, corporate carve-outs, start-ups, and portfolio company operational improvement projects.

Prior to HT Private Equity Advisors, Rick was Senior Finance Operating Executive at Vector Capital, a $2 billion value investor in established technology businesses based out of San Francisco, CA. Rick worked with Vector’s portfolio companies and investment team members to ensure that new acquisitions and existing portfolio companies maximized their financial capital through leading cross-portfolio procurement initiatives, identifying working capital improvements, recruiting talent, and partnering on transformational business projects.

Prior to Vector Capital, Rick held several roles within Cerberus Capital, L.P. and its portfolio companies. Cerberus Capital is one of the world’s leading private investment firms, excels at distressed investing, and manages approximately $25 billion.  Rick was Chief Operating Officer at CorePointe Group, financial services and insurance company, which was a spin-off from Chrysler Financial.  Prior to CorePointe Group, Rick was the Vice President, Corporate Development at Chrysler Financial, a Cerberus Capital portfolio company, and actively participated in the negotiation, structuring, and sale of Chrysler Financial to Toronto-Dominion Bank for $6.3 billion. In addition, Rick was Operating Advisor for five years at Cerberus Operations and Advisory Company prior to Chrysler Financial.

Rick held various leadership positions throughout his 12-year career at GE Company and GE Capital. Rick earned a B.S. Finance from the University of Florida.

Sidra Berman | Chief Marketing Officer
Sidra Berman | Chief Marketing Officer

As Chief Marketing Officer at Tangoe, Sidra is responsible for all of the company’s marketing programs, including global go-to-market strategy, market analysis, lead generation programs, branding, digital, and overall positioning.

Prior to joining Tangoe, Berman served as Vice President of Marketing for Savi Technology where she was charged with overhauling the go-to-market strategy and repositioning of an RFID hardware defense contractor to a solutions company serving the Big Data supply chain needs of Fortune 1000 companies. During Berman’s tenure at Savi, the company won numerous awards including Company of the Year and IoT Product of the Year. Prior to Savi, she was the Vice President of Marketing and Inside Sales for Clarabridge, a high-growth Software-as-a-Service company focused on Big Data and text analytics targeting Fortune 2000 organizations. During her tenure at Clarabridge revenue doubled and new customer acquisition increased 50 percent. Prior to Clarabridge, Berman served as Director of Product Marketing and Strategy for Deltek, where she grew revenue through overall portfolio growth from target markets, increasing market share from successful product launches.

Berman holds a Bachelor’s degree in political science from Tufts University and an MBA in marketing and finance from the University of Maryland.

Mark Desautelle | Chief Revenue Officer
Mark Desautelle | Chief Revenue Officer

As Chief Revenue Officer, Mark Desautelle is responsible for all revenue generating activities, including the strategic direction and management of the sales organization, business development efforts, and the alliances program. Prior to joining Tangoe, Desautelle served as Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Data Intensity. In his role, he was responsible for driving revenue across the portfolio, overseeing the marketing and lead generation activities, and leading the successful integration of acquired companies. Previously, Desautelle was Senior Vice President of Sales for SunGard Availability Services where he ran East Coast Sales and transitioned the sales team into new markets and solution offerings during his tenure at the technology firm.

Tom Flynn | Chief of Operations
Tom Flynn | Chief of Operations

As Chief of Operations, Tom is responsible for all aspects of the Global Operations organization, which includes global service delivery, managed pay, implementation and on-boarding, customer help desk, and Tangoe Advisory Services. Tom previously served as Chief Administrative Officer and General Counsel for the company. Prior to joining Tangoe in June 2011, Tom was with the law firm Shipman & Goodwin for over 20 years. While at Shipman & Goodwin, Tom served on the firm’s Management Committee and was chair of the firm’s Business Group. Tom received his B.A., summa cum laude, from the University of Connecticut in 1986 and his J.D., summa cum laude, from the University of Connecticut School of Law in 1989.

Yaakov Shapiro | Chief Technology Officer
Yaakov Shapiro | Chief Technology Officer

Yaakov is a Senior Executive with 30+ years of software engineering and management experience in both large corporate and small business environments. He is an innovative leader with proven experience in building motivated results-oriented teams across multiple locations and geographies. Yaakov champions new ways of thinking and is a role model for continuous improvement, he encourages and rewards smart risk taking. His technical expertise includes areas such as mobile development, cloud computing, data analytics and desktop applications as well as other evolving technologies. Yaakov possesses exceptional interpersonal and communication skills and a style that is both open and respectful; effective with executives, customers, direct line employees and cross-organization teams.

Yaakov joined Pitney Bowes in 2015 and is currently the domain leader of the PB Software Solutions Innovation team partnering with Bob Guidotti and his executive team. This responsibility covers the entire Pitney Bowes Software product portfolio which includes the Location Intelligence, Customer Information Management, Customer Engagement Solutions and Data teams. This team is composed of over 600 technical resources spanning the globe with teams in India, UK, Poland and the US. Prior to his current role at PB, Yaakov held a similar position with responsibility limited to the CES Line of Business. Yaakov also leads our Mobile Center of Excellence.

Prior to joining PB, Yaakov spent 18 years at CA Technologies where he held a series of progressively strategic positions culminating as leader of a global software engineering organization of 500+ charged with delivering innovative products for the CA Intellicenter portfolio – a strategic engine for businesses in the application economy that enable CIOs and IT leaders to provide value to their organizations. Yaakov focused teams on strategic thinking and customer experience innovation resulting in net new customer offerings and foundational patterns for mobile products across entire Business Unit. He drove execution of a corporate “SaaS First” strategy through delivery of company’s first organically built SaaS products, which now serve as foundation for future products.

In a prior role at CA Technologies as Chief Architect and Distinguished Engineer, Yaakov led a team of six senior architects driving technical architecture for the Business Service Optimization business unit comprised of dozens of products and over 1,500 Software Developers and Product Managers. His team designed a common architecture and tech stacks across products that involved multi-tenancy, database schema, common object definitions and reporting tools.

Yaakov holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and Computer Science from Touro College in NYC where he graduated summa cum laude.

Yaakov currently resides in Spring Valley, NY with his wife of 35 years, but without their six children who have all married and started families of their own. In his spare time, Yaakov studies Bible, Jewish Law & Philosophy and is a locally noted lecturer.

Mark Troller | Chief Information Officer
Mark Troller | Chief Information Officer

Mark Troller brings over 20 years of IT leadership experience from a wide variety of industries including Telecom, Cable Television, Internet Advertising, and Financial Services. Mark joins Tangoe from iN DEMAND where he was VP of Information Technology and was responsible for Infrastructure, Cloud Services, Cybersecurity, and Technology Program Management. Prior to iN DEMAND, Mark was VP of IT at Time Warner Cable of NYC. There he partnered with business leaders to standardize and consolidate disparate billing and CRM systems to support the NY/NJ Region. Throughout his career, Mark has been a proponent of IT Process Management and believes in total transparency between IT and the business.

Mark received his B.E in Engineering Management in 1991 and M.S. in Technology Management in 1993, both from Stevens Institute of Technology. Mark received his Executive MBA from Rutgers Business School in 2013.

Ivan Latanision | Executive Vice President - Product
Ivan Latanision | Executive Vice President - Product

As Executive Vice President of Product, Ivan Latanision is responsible for all aspects of the Tangoe global product organization, which includes strategy, design, development, and delivery. Prior to joining Tangoe, Ivan Latanision was Head of Product at Medidata Solutions, the market leader in clinical trial cloud solutions. In this role Ivan leads Medidata’s product management organization – which consists of product managers, product owners, business analysts and UX/UI designers in NYC, San Francisco, London and Japan.

Prior to Medidata, Ivan was VP, Product Management and Strategy at Sparta Systems, the market leader for enterprise quality management software – used by quality, manufacturing and regulatory affairs professionals in the life sciences industry to manage quality control and compliance issues across the enterprise. In this role Ivan led the product management, user experience, business analyst and PMO teams to introduce of SaaS products and services to a very successful on-premise software business.

Before he joined Sparta, Ivan was the Chief Product Officer at INTTRA, a global e-commerce platform for the ocean cargo industry, where he was responsible for the company’s product vision, strategy and execution, from concept to development, implementation and support. Prior to INTTRA, Ivan was the Chief Technology Officer for SourceMedia, Inc. (a subsidiary of ThomsonReuters), where he was responsible for managing several functions, including product development, technology operations, infrastructure, corporate systems and IT. Ivan also served as Senior Director of Product Management at Reciprocal, Inc., a privately held company founded by Microsoft and Softbank, as well as various technology and operational roles at Thomson Financial Media and several newspapers in New Jersey and New York.

Sandi von Drateln | Vice President - Human Resources
Sandi von Drateln | Vice President - Human Resources

As Vice President of Human Resources, Sandi von Drateln is responsible for developing and executing Tangoe’s global human resource strategy including organization effectiveness, engagement, change management, talent acquisition, compensation, and benefits. Prior to joining Tangoe, Sandi was Vice President of Human Resources for Fiserv’s Card Services business where she was responsible for overseeing the people aspects of organizational change required for Card Services to respond to increased demand and usage of technology-driven solutions. Sandi has held human resources leadership positions in the United States, Asia-Pacific, and Europe for companies including gategroup, ANZ Bank, Premier Farnell, and Nabisco.
