This week, I sit down with Kirk Webb, Tangoe’s Solutions Architect Director, who helps our internal teams solve problems with technology, specifically by leveraging business applications.
Kirk works out of our Shelton, Connecticut office and is the kind of coworker you go to when you need a laugh, when you need a problem solved, when you need personal advice, when you need a good listener. I learned a lot from our conversation, and I know our audience will appreciate his perspective and his honesty.
Kirk joined the company in 2016, as the Director of Sales Operations and redesigned Tangoe’s customer relationship management (CRM) system, Salesforce, working to incorporate ways that would allow our teams to better utilize all its available functions and tools.
Currently, Kirk and his team is working on implementing a customer billing automation solution that can be fastened to our current finance tool, NetSuite. Utilizing many of the tools that we already have in-house, this solution will remove many manual steps, which will free up time for our Service Delivery Management and Billing teams, while providing our customers with accurate, timely, complete bills.
We cover a lot: We talk about his new puppy, Ozzie. We talk about the Tangoe of the past, we talk about the Asentinel merger, we talk about the MOBI acquisition, we talk about our culture committees, and we talk about how Kirk, a once self-described skeptic, is now happily engaging in Tangoe’s office activities.
Here’s my conversation with the very intelligent and rock-solid, Kirk Webb. Let’s all learn from him.
