This week, we travel to Bangalore, India, which is roughly 8,000 miles (or about 13,000 kilometers) from New York City, for an honest and inspiring conversation with Aarti Sharma, a Service Delivery Manager, who works from Tangoe’s Bangalore office. She’s been with the company just over one year.
In this episode, we cover many topics. We learn that Aarti is a certified Zumba instructor who believes that staying physically fit is one of if not the most important things we can do. (Zumba is an exercise program created by Colombian dancer and choreographer Beto Pérez during the 1990s.)
Aarti also highlights and reminds us that as a Service Delivery Manager, part of her role—or actually part of her purpose—is to help protect Tangoe’s identity. A profound and courageous statement.
Aarti works the night shift in Bangalore, which is 5PM to 2AM local time. We talk about some of the struggles that come with working those hours and why it’s critical to have an office environment that’s inviting, friendly, collaborative and especially motivational.
This is the first time we’ve featured a Tangoeroo from India on the podcast, and I’m anxious to share. Here is my conversation with the amazing Aarti Sharma. Let’s all learn from her.
