What is Culture? Season 2 – Episode #14: Transplanted

Marina Deane, Tangoe’s Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist, covers the EMEA region, as well as the United States, to help bring on the right people into the organization. In addition to our hiring managers, Marina works closely with Stephanie Ahearn (Team Lead, Global Talent Acquisition) and Janine Kramer (Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist), and the three of them report to Janet Koether (VP of Performance and Talent Management), who all report to Sandi von Drateln, Tangoe’s Chief Human Resources Officer.

Marina Deane - Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist, TangoeMarina worked for recruitment agencies before joining Tangoe for more than 20 years, which she says has shaped and influenced the way in which she approaches her role as a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist.

In addition to promoting Tangoe as an employer of choice for professionals, Marina is a true advocate for our candidates, ensuring they all undergo a very positive learning experience, whether they acquire a position with us or not.

What’s interesting about Marina’s journey with Tangoe is that she was born and raised in England and began her career with us nearly six years ago, shortly after the British company ttMobiles was acquired. In 2017, she and her husband Mike, moved from England to the United States and have been living in New Hampshire ever since. Fortunately for us, Marina retained her position with Tangoe.

Marina is such a warm and down-to-earth person, and it is my pleasure to give her a voice. The episode actually begins with Marina sharing her story about making the move from England to the U.S., and it’s a good one.

Here’s my conversation with the wonderful Marina Deane. Let’s all learn from her.
