The Tangoe of Today: A Decade of Difference

They say “what a difference a year makes.” Then, what about a decade?

One year ago this month, Tangoe acquired MOBI, a company I co-founded with childhood friends back in 2009. What started as an idea in my partner’s basement has grown today to be the leading Enterprise Technology Management company working with America’s greatest brands across a global footprint.

A lot has changed in the last 10 years. We’ve seen enterprises shift from the BlackBerry to the iPhone, the rise of BYOD and IoT transition from hype to reality – and so much more.

As the enterprise technology landscape evolves, so too has Tangoe. Today, Tangoe – which just so happens to be entering its 20th year – announced we signed more than 30 new customers in 2019, doubling our year-over-year performance.

This growth is bolstered by tremendous momentum following Tangoe’s successful acquisition – and integration – of MOBI and introduction of the Tangoe Platform. Today, Tangoe manages more than $40 billion in annual technology spend and more than 10 million devices across the globe—five times more than our three closest competitors combined.

Our Game Plan is working and we’re thrilled to deliver real value to our customers every day.

When I look back at the last 10 years, I am astounded by the evolution of Tangoe and happy to say we continue to stay focused on investing in our customers’ success. Today, I’m proud to be a Tangoeroo as we continue to focus on helping millions of people work smarter every single day.

And I can’t wait to see what the next decade brings.
