Tangoe Takes Home Key Win at The Best in Biz Awards 2015

Matrix Cloud

Great news! Tangoe’s Matrix Cloud solution won a Silver Best in Biz Award for 2015! Our Matrix Cloud took home Enterprise Product of the Year in the Software category.

The Best in Biz Awards are the only independent business awards program judged by members of the press and industry analysts including an independent panel of 46 judges from highly recognized newspapers, business, consumer and technology publications, radio outlets, and analyst firms. Nominations were fielded from public and private companies of all sizes, from virtually every major industry and region in the U.S. and Canada, showcasing the very best of North American business.

Tangoe’s Matrix Cloud technology and service solution took the win for its design to help enterprises of all sizes better manage their cloud expenses. Launched in March 2015, Tangoe’s Matrix Cloud uncovers all of the cloud services that are in use in the business and performs an assessment of those services. The solution includes consultative services to help organizations put a cloud strategy in place that aligns with key business objectives. From there, Tangoe aggregates all of the organization’s cloud providers, expenses, licenses and agreements, into our Matrix technology platform. The Matrix technology enables customers to view, in one central database, how much they are spending, what they are spending it on, and how those costs are allocated across the organization, down to the individual user level. In addition, Matrix Cloud helps organizations determine whether or not they are being billed properly by auditing billing while also looking for opportunities to optimize how these services are being purchased and used.

This was the fifth annual program in North America, and with more than 600 entries it had the highest number of submissions to date.

“In the more than 15 years that I have been covering enterprise and consumer technology, it’s been fascinating to watch “old school” tools and technologies evolve for the cloud era,” said Mathew Schwartz, InfoRiskToday, returning to the Best in Biz Awards judging panel for the second time. “What struck me most about this year’s entries in the Best in Biz Awards were the businesses that — brand names or not, long-established players or even more recently birthed organizations — continue to grapple with how to best reinvent themselves, and by doing so best tap the latest technology possibilities and capabilities for better attracting, retaining and serving their customers.”

We are very proud of these awards and look forward to even more success and accolades in 2016. Thank you to everyone who voted and recognized us as an industry leader!
