3,791 percent revenue growth attributed to industry acceptance of Tangoe's automated telecom expense management solution
ORANGE, Conn., October 19, 2006—Tangoe, Inc., the
leading provider of enterprise telecommunications expense management
software and services, today announced that it ranked No. 64 on
Deloitte's 2006 Technology Fast 500, a ranking of the 500 fastest
growing technology, media, telecommunications, and life sciences
companies in North America. Rankings are based on percentage revenue
growth over five years, from 2001–2005.
Tangoe president and
CEO Al Subbloie credits the company's 3,791 percent revenue growth over
the past five years to the market's ready acceptance of Tangoe's
automated telecom expense management (TEM) software and
technology-based services.
“It's a remarkable achievement to make the Deloitte Fast 500 list,
much less the top 15 percent,” said Subbloie. “I consider this award a
win for everyone at Tangoe who has worked so hard to understand what
companies worldwide need to regain control of their telecom expenses.
The team has developed the most innovative and comprehensive solution
in the industry to meet customer needs while delivering outstanding
results.”
“Deloitte's Technology Fast 500 companies have shown the strength,
vision, and tenacity to succeed in today's very competitive technology
environment,” said Tony Kern, deputy managing principal of Deloitte's
Technology, Media & Telecommunications industry practice. “We
applaud the successes of Tangoe and acknowledge it as one of the very
few to accomplish such a fast growth rate over the past five years.”
In addition to ranking on Deloitte's Technology Fast 500,
Tangoe ranked second on this year's Connecticut Technology Fast 50,
which is a ranking of the 50 fastest growing technology firms in the
state. Tangoe was previously awarded two consecutive “Rising Star”
awards by Deloitte Technology.
