Alliance’s collective TEM expertise continues to
grow across the globe
ORANGE, Conn., June 30, 2008 — Tangoe, Inc., a leading global provider of enterprise communications lifecycle management software and technology-enabled services, today announced Brazilian-based Mobilit Information Technology Management as the first Latin American member partner in Tangoe’s CommCare Worldview alliance. Mobilit is the latest member in Tangoe’s WorldView alliance—a global network of providers enabling partners to pool their collective telecom expense management (TEM) experience and expertise in order to rapidly and efficiently expand the scope of their telecom lifecycle management capabilities
As a Worldview alliance member, partners both
contribute and receive international capabilities that enable them to more
efficiently and effectively process global carrier invoices, and centrally
view, report, and analyze fixed and mobile communications spending from anywhere
in the world. With the most recent addition of Mobilit to the Worldview
alliance, Tangoe’s Worldview alliance members now have access to approximately
175 shared electronic billing interfaces from carriers in more than twenty countries including the U.S., Canada, Brazil, France,
Germany, Italy, Spain, the United Kingdom, and Australia. These billing
interfaces enable partners to leverage a common set of technologies,
methodologies, and formats that allow them to better serve their multinational
clients.
Since signing a partnership agreement with Tangoe in 2007 to adopt
Tangoe’s CommCare Management Platform (CMP) as its technology standard, Mobilit
has worked with Tangoe on nine joint customers, signing four additional new
deals in Q1 2008. A leading provider of telecom solutions in the key Brazilian
market in Latin America, Mobilit manages more
than US$120 million in annual telecom spend for some of the largest companies
in the region, boasting an average client savings of approximately 35 percent
of total annual spend.
“Clearly we’ve had an extremely successful partnership with Tangoe in the
short period of time we’ve worked together and we’re excited to join Tangoe’s
Worldview alliance to expand our relationship further,” said Duda Lemos,
commercial director for Mobilit. “We understand the power of cooperation and
collaboration for the benefit of all of the companies in the network of
providers and look forward to contributing our over ten years of expertise
working with some of the largest companies and carriers in our market.”
“With the addition of Mobilit as a member partner in a key Latin American
market, our Worldview alliance continues to grow and gain momentum in the
global marketplace” commented Tangoe president and CEO Al
Subbloie. “As our roster of WorldView providers continues to
grow, we’ve seen a 'network effect’, where the collective value created
increases exponentially with each additional partner. In turn, this means is
that our partners can create leverage each other’s expertise and, in so doing,
create additional value for large multinational clients by expanding the scope
of their TEM services and initiatives around the globe.”
