The CommCare optimization
process performs the following:
- Collects data on every call to create an
individualized calling profile.
- Assesses calling profiles against the various
preferred carrier rate plans.
- Provides optimization recommendations
from both an individual, as well as pooling perspective.
Monthly Rate-Plan Analysis
Individual rate-plan analysis is
performed monthly using Tangoe’s patented automated “Plan Expert” process and
review of more than 90,000 rate plans within its database. The optimization process examines rate plans
and makes recommendations for changes that optimize costs based on usage
patterns.
Quarterly Pooling Optimization Analysis
On a quarterly basis, a pooling
optimization analysis is performed in order to examine opportunities to
optimize pooling costs. Approved rate plan recommendations are presented to
carriers on behalf of each customer and then verified to ensure proper
implementation. Savings are tracked against implemented recommendations.
