International Invoice Management is the first in a multi-phase rollout of complete lifecycle communications management services that Tangoe is making available to the global market. International Invoice Management centralizes global telecom invoice processing, allowing multi-national corporations to manage a world of invoices from a centralized repository no matter what the carrier, country of origin, or language. For the first time, global enterprises have true visibility into carrier invoices originating inside and outside of North America

International Invoice Management serves the full telecom needs of the enterprise, including fixed and mobile invoices in both electronic and paper formats.

Centralizing a World of Invoices

International Invoice Management begins with the acquisition of an organization’s paper and/or electronic invoices. In many cases this means redirecting invoices from the appropriate carriers directly to Tangoe’s Invoice Processing Center in the U.S. Some countries (including Germany, Portugal, and Spain, to name a few) preclude carriers from shipping invoices outside their country. In these cases, invoices are delivered to an in-country global processing center before being electronically transferred to the U.S. Tangoe currently operates more than 80 global processing centers, and can establish additional locations as needed.

Once received, invoices are loaded into Tangoe’s proprietary, patented technology and validated. Tangoe has processed invoices from more than 1,100 different global service provider billing systems and has capabilities extending to more than 1,800 total billing platforms, representing over 195 countries and territories, providing enterprises one of the most extensive global capabilities in the industry. This includes the standardization and processing of invoices in both currency and language of choice.

Addressing the primary challenges in managing multi-national fixed and mobile communications, Tangoe’s International Invoice Management service addresses the following invoice acquisition, loading, and tracking needs:
